Why is my face so unaesthetic?

Surgery improved my appraisal of my looks quite a bit, but I still struggle with my face looking very strange in photos, especially straight-on. I see a weak upper lip, long philtrum, and tear trough deformity but I feel like there is something greater that is wrong. Could anyone assess my face and please let me know how the aesthetic could be improved?

First, congratulations on having the courage to undergo a rhinoplasty and chin implant.  It's great that you are happy with your results.  It's best to wait longer before getting an assessment of facial aesthetic issues because you still have a fair amount of swelling in the nose and lower face at 11 days after surgery.  Best wishes.

Looking at both pre operative and post operative photographs, I agree that this will improve with reduction in both swelling and edema aka "time".  Post operative recovery can be a tough time where the patient is looking through photos, second guessing decisions, and getting frankly "out of their heads".  I encourage you to relax, recover, and let your body heal.  After you recover fully, then it is time for a better assessment of what bothers you, and what your surgeon can do to help you get there. Remember a happy healer is a healthy healer.

Hi, from the photos you have an elongated oval, shaped face.  For over 30 years I have studied facial beauty and found that women look the most attractive when their faces are heart shaped.  Heart shaped faces have cheeks that are full in the front.  Comparing that to your face, you can see that your cheeks should be more full in the front which would soften and feminize your face.  You can use dermal fillers or cheek implants to create the proper shape to your cheeks and face.
 In addition, your lips are thin and augmenting them with a dermal filler or lip implant would soften the mouth and lower face.  These two areas, in my humble opinion, are the main aesthetic areas of your face that you should consider improving.
