Chin is huge from the front, but weak from the side. Any suggestions?

Firstly, your chin is weak on profile. Most chin implants have no wings. Only extended implants do.Your face is attractive and does not require anything more than a chin implant. It also will not add length to the chin.

The smiling photos typically 'lift' the cheek pads' which changes the overall analysis. But you can alter the  chin in all dimensions with a genioplasty (common approach for this) and you can 'highlight' the cheekbone contour 'near the eyes' so the facial balance will appear 'less full' (emphasizes the boney contour, not soft tissue contour). Also, it may be that the lower jaw is quite 'narrow' in the back/angle/body of the lower jaw. This will typically make the soft tissue appear much fuller (per your concern). Defining the angles of the jawline can help.
