I got breast implants exactly a year ago. 275 mentor silcone.. I feel like they look a little too round. I wished I had gotten tear drop or gummy shape ones.. People keep asking me if I had a boob job which I hate bc I did a relatively small size and nothing too crazy. I also wished there was more space between them as their to close together. What do you think?see pics attached. IF I wanted to get these removed and have gummy bear ones inserted would the shape look more natural?
Answer: Do my breast implants look fake? "Fake" looking just like beauty, may be in the eyes of the beholder. Bottom line: it does not matter what other people, including plastic surgeon online consultants think. If YOU feel that your breasts are too "fake looking" around, downsizing breast implants, possibly with adjusting of the surrounding capsules, may be indicated. If you do choose to downsize breast implants, select your plastic surgeon carefully and communice your goals carefully as well. The use of goal photographs, not the usage of terms such as "small size" or "fake looking" may be very helpful. The use of "teardrop" breast implants is not necessarily better than the use of round breast implants when it comes to achieving a more natural looking (or less "round") outcome. Best wishes.

Answer: Do breast implants look fake? Your breast look fine. Breast implants, in general, just makes your original shape bigger and fuller. They rarely change your shape or change your cleavage. Other implants most likely would not change your shape. You should also know that pregnancy and significant weight change are the two most common situations that might change your results. Answer: Do my breast implants look fake? Thanks for your photos. I don't think you look very fake, but I can see your point about your breast implants being too round. I have done hundreds of shape breast implants in the past 2 years and I would be happy to give you an opinion about an exchange.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

Answer: Less fake looking breast implants Thank you for the question and photos. I’m sorry to hear that you’re not completely happy with the shape of your breasts. You seem to have healed very well. If you think you have a narrow cleavage the implants you have may be too wide for your frame. I don’t recommend a tear drop implant after a round implant because the pocket will be too big and the tear drop could rotate. My advice is to discuss this with your surgeon and get sized for a different implant with a different shape or size. Best of luck! Dr. Khuthaila

Answer: Do my breast implants look fake? To my eye your result looks excellent and I do not believe your breast look fake at all. You have truly a superb result and I personally would not modify them. Over time they will become more teardrop shaped. Ask your plastic surgeon if you may do breast implant displacement exercises which may help. The teardrop implants are textured and there are serious health concerns about textured implants.
