Breast implant pain post op and only on one side. Normal?

I had breast implant revision almost a few months ago and my left breast is still painful to the touch (upper only) it also hasn’t dropped and is much harder than my right side so my question is this normal? My dr claims it’s just a larger capsule on this side but it hurts up top. I can feel the swelling when I touch it. Should I massage?

Massage may help soften that breast if there is scar tissue at the area, but call your surgeon's office first to ensure that this is safe for you. Since you are still having pain and feel that your left side is firm and has not settled, I would recommend a follow-up appointment with your surgeon to address these concerns. It is difficult without an in-person physical examination if the differences that you are having are reasonable given your post-op time frame or if there is something more going on. A follow-up visit will be the best way to ensure you receive the best care possible going forward.
