Adding a dorsal hump to thin skin nose?

Revision rhinoplasty is complicated and demands exceptional skill on behalf of the surgeon and great communication with the patient about realistic goals and expectations.A hump can potentially be recreated. Cartilage grafts would need to be used and carefully positioned. Make sure to seek out the care of a board certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in revision rhinoplasty. Find someone you connect with who will listen to your concerns and provide you with a framework for what is possible.

Hello again and thank you for both your questions.  Grafting, whether its cartilage or fascia can be commonly used to augment the nasal dorsum (i.e. to add a dorsal hump) if this will restore the nose to a similar appearance as it was before.  Photographs of your old nose would help, but as always, an in person examination with a board certified plastic surgeon is step #1... best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  Adding pictures of your nose would be helpful.  Dorsal augmentation can be achieved with diced cartilage wrapped in fascia in many patients.  This decision should
be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you
and your surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Based on the earlier pictures similar shape can be given by using crushed cartilage graft.
A clinical examination by some one has used the technique in the past is the fist step.
