Question

7 weeks post op upper eyelid bleph one eye looks bigger and wake up with so much swelling and fluid build up on one eye will this resolve. I’m really upset not only did I do the upper bleph but the doctor also lifted my brows non surgically scars are in some areas still thick and red I’m really worried and my surgeon is overseas so I don’t have any help from a surgeon just to be sure everything is ok any help would be appreciated I’m not to worried about scars more the asymmetry of my eyes please help

Morning,Thank you for the photos but you are looking down in the photos which makes it difficult to assess how even they are.  Take more photos looking straight ahead into the camera lens (don't look at yourself on the screen of the phone when taking the photo).Also, I can understand your concern but fortunately 7 weeks is still very early and I'm sure you can expect things to improve.  See your surgeon again and if you still have concerns it's perfectly fine to get other opinions.  That being said I wouldn't get 5 opinions.  If you get 2 or 3 other opinions and the feedback is consistent you're on the right path.Chase Lay MD
