Hi I had botox 2 weeks. Forehead, glabellar and crows feet. Aside from that and not cause of the botox. But 4 days ago I got the sick from just a cold or something I ate at the same time. Cause I've been having high fever, vomiting, sneezing and coughing very hard!! So... Face down a lot and enormous pressure and pain in the face while I was coughing and vomiting... The sneezes too. All though its 2 weeks post botox, has it migrated? Cause it really looks like it has.... Thanks for answers

Answer: Not feeling well and recently had botox It is difficult to judge or answer anything Botox related as there are no pictures. You feeling not well is definitely just virus related and I hope you feel better soon as almost everyone else is having the same symptoms. Botox does not migrate 2 weeks after being injected. Multiple studies have shown that it finds its target within 30 seconds of being injected and then the muscle slowly relaxes over the 10-14 days span. If you feel heavy, it it difficult to judge whether its your sinuses/congestion, migraines/dehydration/ or a little too much botox. Feel better soon. Best, Dr.Avaliani.

Answer: Sick After Botox Thank you for your question, and I'm sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Botox is fully activated by two weeks after the initial injection, and chances of the product migrating is extremely low at this point. In my experience, some patients can experience some flu-like symptoms in the first 24-48 hours after injection, but not at 2 weeks. It is likely your symptoms and Botox are two unrelated events. I hope this was helpful and that you feel better!
