I had Botox 4 days ago. Is it okay to take Clindamycin hcl 300mg?

I have seen suggestions to avoid aminogylcoside antibitotics, but not Clindamycin, with Botox. Yes you can take your prescribed antibiotics even though you had Botox four days ago. The antibiotics will not impact your Botox treatment or results. I hope your tooth feels better!

You can take clindamycin after having had botox. There are no side effects associated with taking the two treatments together or a few days apart.

Botox and antibiotics dont have an interaction. But if you plan to get filler in the future - be sure to wait a month before having any dental work!

Thank you for your question. If you are given an antibiotic you should continue to take it until it is finished. 
Antibiotics do run the risk of decreasing the effectiveness of Botox treatment, but the infection from dental should take priority of the cosmetic Botox injections. Hope this helps.

Clindamycin may lessen the effect of the botox injection. However, the infection must be treated. Notify your dental provider of the recent botox injection and your plastic surgeon of the necessity of clindamycin administration. 
Otherwise there should be no adverse effect of clindamycin administration.
