In most cases, BroadBand Light treatment (BBL/IPL-type therapy) is usually done before a vampire facial (PRP/microneedling), not immediately after it.The reasoning is mainly about skin irritation and safety:BBL works by delivering light/heat energy into the skin.A vampire facial typically involves microneedling + Platelet-Rich Plasma, which temporarily disrupts the skin barrier and creates inflammation/microchannels.If you do aggressive microneedling/PRP first and then perform BBL too soon afterward:the skin may be overly sensitive, irritation and inflammation can increase, and the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation or prolonged redness may rise.So in my practise, thepreference would be:BBL first, allow the skin to calm/heal,then PRP/microneedling later (often days to weeks afterward depending on intensity).I hope this answer is helpful, best wishes.
