I had some facial trauma from a prior surgery and it seems some kind of connective tissue that helps hold the chin pad to the underlying bone was disrupted. My chin pad on one side no longer has the forward/ downward pull of the other side, making it look very unsightly. It seems this may be difficult to restore, but can anyone provide some guidance on weather it is possible?

It appears that you have a short chin in a vertical dimension and a little too much projection. I would recommend a genioplasty to lengthen your chin to reduce the deep mentolabial fold and set the chin back a bit.
Thanks for your pictures. In my professional opinion, improving the volume of your cheeks further enhance the attractiveness of your face. This can be achieved by fillers or cheek implants. Softening (slight chin reduction) can also help.
