I’m interested in getting the Morpheus eight treatment done for my sagging jawline and loose skin around the eyes. I know that they recommend three treatments to see results but summer is coming up and I can’t commit to not being in the sun. Will one session be enough or should I look into getting ultherapy done?

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Thank you for your question! 3 treatments are recommended for the ideal result. You do not want to be in extended periods of sun because it can cause hyperpigmentation issues. You could wait until the fall when you will not be in the sun as often. Best of luck.

Hi and thank you for your question! Yes, one will make a difference. Typically we recommend everyone to purchase a package of 3 that is every 3 - 4 weeks. Best results would be 3 - 6 months post your last treatment! Have good day!

Thank you for your picture! To see visible results, I would highly recommend doing 3 morpheus treatments. In my professional opinion I would not suggest only doing one treatment because you will not get max results and may not see much of an improvement. Its best to get multiple Morpheus treatments when stimulating collagen and elasticity. Good luck!

It is very important to complete all 3 sessions of Morpheus 8 about 4 weeks apart for optimal results.  If you did only 1 treatment you would likely not see much of a change.  When all 3 treatments are completed in the appropriate time frame, you will see pretty impressive results and your subdermal remodeling will continue to improve for up to 3 months post treatment.

Thank you so much for your question and for providing a photo, we highly recommend three treatments, or at least one more before summer is in full swing! With Morpheus8 you are okay to be in the sun as long as you're wearing SPF and a hat for the two weeks following your appointment. You will see the best ultimate results with the recommended three treatments, however even just a second would be a great way to achieve the tightening you're looking for.
