Very rough texture on cheeks after Morpheus8 need advice! (Photos)

Question

Hi everyone I had one Morpheus8 session in November full face and neck and after I developed a rough texture on my cheeks. Idk if u can tell from the pic but there are areas that are raised and now some indented. It was set on 2mm but there was a terrible burning smell of skin in the room which the practitioner said was normal. It was also incredibly painful esp on my cheeks. It did give me some tightening but not much. What can I do to make the texture better again? Help!

Thank you for your question and photos! I have never seen the skin react to Morpheus8 like that before. Morpheus8 should improve skin texture not make it worse. I suggest you make and appointment with you provider. Best of luck!

Hi Yardley,

Sorry to hear of your adverse event.  Depending on what your skin looks like on actual physicial exam, I would likely treat you with a non-ablative fractionated laser (Fraxel restore) along with an automated skin boosting treatment (Medi-Inject) which would include PRP, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and low dose botox.
