Hello I have consulted various clinics and the two options that are recommended are Morpheus 8 and Ultherapy. I am hearing mixing reviews about both. What would be best to target the lower face skin that is starting to sag and the mini double chin I have? Side note: ideally I would like to do FaceTite + lipo but I want to wait until after I have another child (I am only planning on "trying" later this Fall). This is something I would do in a couple years.
Answer: Morpheus combined with fillers Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Morpheus8 Thank you for your question and photos. For your concerns, I would recommend Morpheus8. 3 treatments done every 4-6 weeks would be ideal for skin tightening and collagen stimulation. Best of luck!

Answer: ULTHERAPY VS MORPHEUS 8 Great question! Morpheus 8 would be the best option when looking to tighten the skin and reduce fat, especially for the face and neck. Different from Ultherapy, Morpheus 8 projects gold plated needles into the skin while delivering radio frequency. This minimally invasive procedure creates a wound healing response, which helps the production of collagen and elastin. Ultherapy is non-invasive and delivers ultrasound waves on the surface of the skin to treat the deeper layers of your epidermis. The waves are used to heat the skin tissue and, this way, are able to tighten the skin without breaking the surface. Unfortunately, you are unable to reduce unwanted fat with Ultherapy. It's strictly used to counteract signs of aging like skin sagging and wrinkles on the face, neck, and chest as well as drooping of the brow area. Overall Morpheus 8 is the latest and greatest technology for skin rejuvenation and skin tightening. Consult a nearby provider for more information.

Answer: Which would be best to target lower face skin that is starting to sag and a double chin, Morpheus 8 or Ultherapy? This is a great question! Thank you for your pictures. Morpheus8 and Ultherapy both stimulate collagen and elasticity on a dual level. However, the Morpheus does have a more result driven effect on the overall texture of the skin. You will see more of a radiant result from the morpheus as well as the tightening and lifting correction. I would recommend doing 3 or more morpheus treatments once a month. If you choose to do Ultherapy, I would recommend one Ultherapy treatment every six months for best results which does have minimal to no downtime.
