6 months post op - worse than before surgery. Do I need a revision? (Photos)

49F, 5'4, 120 lbs...had a DP face and necklift nearing 6 months ago. I have a deep line around my neck, (along with other lines) and no definition under my chin/jawline. Area is far worse than before surgery. Doctor tells me I need to be patient, but feel at almost 6 months, the "snatched jawline" i was promised is not coming. Do I need a revision?

You are seeing bulges from the submandibular glands. If you over resect the fat below the platysma in the midline and DO NOT properly address the adjacent submandibular glands....you will have central hollowing with a lateral neck bulge. This is a spectrum of a deformity called "cobra neck".
