Over 1 year post op - Why is my right jawline drooping? (Photos)

Good afternoon, i have a question about my right jawline! Im over one year out and completely healed but i knew there was an issue from week 5. I am sceduled for a repair i assume in October however my surgeon is out of state and does not communicate well! He is a "rock star" surgeon and i dont think he likes to admit he didnt get a good result with me. I would love to know what has happened i can not get a direct answer from him. Thank you for your time. I will add a picture if possible

I have seen this before and have used Kybella (deoxycholic acid) injections to improve these pads. I have lectured on this, as well. Have your surgeon contact me and I will explain how to do it.

You could either do a scar revision or laser. You need something aggressive that will treat the full thickness depth of the scar. These are related to poor closure/tension/sutures.

The best treatment for this issue is prevention, but having passed that stage, skin tightening by carbon dioxide laser or temporal browlift for lifting and smoothing that area are possible solutions.
