Marionette lines returned after facelift - can this be improved? (Photo)

As we all age, you lose fat in the nasolabial and labiomandibular folds. A facelift may help a little, but the fat really needs to be refilled to soften them. Fat transfer is very easy to do under a local anesthetic, or you can simply have fillers placed to soften the creases. Be sure to see a facial specialist for consultation.

Facelifts do not correct marionette lines, given they are no part of the face as anatomically and surgically it is understoo, but the frontier between the face itself and the oral cavity structures / nasal region.

Filler are an option, but they lead to deformities in the mid term and pose a risk of blindness (google it).

Marionette lines are difficult to eliminate but I suspect they are improved from prior to surgery. You may want to try fillers or fat transfer to get further improvement
