Thank you for your question regarding what to do to achieve a slimmer jawline and how to remove chin fat. To have a slimmer jawline, I would suggest neck liposuction. This will help to move the fat in the neckline and achieve a slimmer draw line. I don’t think your neck is so severe to require a neck lift at this time. You may also consider buccal fat removal to define the upper third of your face to the lower third. The incision for buccal fat removal is done inside of your mouth. It will be important to coordinate with your plastic surgeon the timing of your surgery. Prednisone interferes with healing. It will be essential to discuss why you were on prednisone and if it could be tapered. Also, you may want to reconsider the surgeries because if you have to be on prednisone for an extended period of time, the fat may accumulate. I hope this helps to answer your question regarding how to achieve a slimmer jawline and removal of chin fat. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen.
