Hi, See attached photos. Would laser liposuction help with my belly fat? I had gastric sleeve some years ago. I know i have some loose skin on my abdomen but i rather lose most of the belly fat before getting skin removal.

After significant weight loss, abdominal concerns are usually a combination of residual fat and skin laxity.
When loose skin is present, liposuction alone can sometimes make the sagging more noticeable. Removing volume without tightening the skin envelope may increase wrinkling or redundancy.
If the primary issue is skin laxity, the definitive solution is an abdominoplasty, which addresses excess skin and reshapes the abdominal contour. Liposuction can be combined with it when necessary, but it is not a substitute for skin removal.
If your goal is to reduce fat first and delay skin surgery, it is important to understand that the skin quality will determine how much improvement can realistically be achieved.
A detailed examination would clarify the balance between fat and skin in your case and guide the safest and most effective plan.

Laser (Smart Lipo) or ultrasound (Vaser) assisted liposuction will remove stubborn fat and tighten skin to a degree.

In massive weight loss, fat may be minimal and skin tightening may be less due to stretch marks, etc.

However, it is a good option to avoid skin excision accepting that there will be improved but not likely tight as a drum skin.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon who performs these procedures is recommended to confirm you are a candidate as well as discuss your options and expectations.

If you are thinking about doing liposuction and removing the excess skin, I would recommend considering doing both at the same time. Doing Liposuction 360 with an Extended abdominoplasty would give you a fantastic result. The approach would remove the loose skin, flatten the abdomen, and give your waist more of an hourglass figure.

Appears in posted photos you have excess skin a d if doing Lipo only you will have much more excess skin and wrinkled/ dented skin areas. Consider full TT with muscle repair and lateral liposuction. Therefore best to virtual consult with for better explanations.
