I have a broad wide face. My face looks "big" and bulky no matter what weight I am. Even at 100 pounds, my face still looked wide. I don't know if my face holds an usual amount of weight, if my cheekbones are too broad, or if my jaw bones/masteers are too wide. What would be the best way to address this so my face is narrow and more "v" shaped or at least alot slimmer?
Answer: How to correct a wide face: Know your treatment options Hello, and thank you for your question. Based on your photos, it appears you may benefit from a combination of procedures. To address your round cheeks, you may undergo buccal fat removal. In many cases, this additional fullness from the cheek to the jawline is due to an excessively large cheek fat pad, and partial removal of this tissue can help create cheek definition and a slimmer contour in the lower face. To help accentuate your jawline, you may also consider a chin augmentation either through an implant or dermal fillers. The best way to determine the right procedures for you would be to schedule an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Such experts will have skills, experience, knowledge of the most advanced surgical techniques, as well as an eye for facial harmony. They will also develop customized treatment plans based on your unique goals and needs, working in partnership with you to achieve realistic and natural results in a safe manner. During your consultation, your surgeon can assess your facial profile, recommend the best approach, and ensure the best possible outcome.

Answer: Facial slimming If your aesthetic goal is to taper down the lower third of your face, there are a few different options. Buccal fat removal is ideal for patients with excess buccal (cheek fat). This would provide lasting results that do not require touchups. Chin augmentation is another option to achieving an improved profile. A more temporary, less invasive option you may consider would be masseter reduction with Botox or dermal filler to the chin. It would benefit you to follow up with a board certified facial plastic surgeon for a full physical examination to determine which treatment option is best for you. Looking at computer-morphed images with your surgeon during consultation will give you a good idea of what is possible, and also give you a great chance to convey to your surgeon what you envision. @drdonyoo

Answer: Lower face augmentation and bichectomy. Thank you for your question and photos. One of the reasons that your face looks round is that the lower third of your face (chin area) is small compared to the rest of your face. To provide a proportional and slimmer face, I would recommend a chin augmentation with a feminine type implant. This operation if combined with a bichat fat removal will give a good result with equal upper middle and lower faces and slimmer looking appearance.
