It is not good to take all of the buccal fat pad because this fat pad continues upwards under the temple. If too much buccal fat is removed then there will be depression on the temple area. Doctors decide how many cc they will remove according to the face and the resistance of the tissue.

Hi Jlanc02, Buccal fat removal is a straightforward surgery and it can be performed in office seetings. For this surgery I recommend after age 18. It can be done anytime after this age. There is no age restrcitions for it.
