A combination approach would give the most improvement. Deep wrinkles and smile lines can be improved with a combination of Botox and/or fillers for the lines themselves and to build anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy is a great skin tightening device, but works best in combination with other treatments like J Plasma, RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, salt facials, Cosmelan for skin tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question and photos. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be used to smooth the smile lines around your mouth. Fillers are often combined with Botox to further optimize results and help them last longer. Botox can slenderize the jawline when injected into the masseter muscle, reducing its size and preventing extensive movement while smiling. The lifting effect of the fillers along with the muscle movement limitation of Botox may provide the results you’re looking for. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector who can assess your concerns and aesthetic goals and help you decide on the best treatment options.
Hi T,It appears that you would benifit from a little more volume in your face. Depending on your in person examination I would likely treat you with either Sculptra or Restylane Defyne. Make sure to choose your injecting physician most carefully! Good luck and be well.Michael Persky,MDEncino, CA
"Parallel laugh lines" are motion-related lines seen typically on the lower face to the sides of the mouth that become apparent when smiling, but are not within the typical nasolabial region. An appropriately resilient, cohesive HA filler can skillfully be fanned under this region in order to buttress and support it (without making it protrude) and thus diminish their appearance when smiling. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps and best of luck.
Hello. This is because your thin skin shrinks because of muscle movement, you can't get rid of it. It is a very characteristic look. Make peace with it and be happy. Otherwise, if you have fillers in this area, you will look very abnormal and like South Korean. You can also book an online consultation and discuss your problems with me. With all respect.
Thank you for your question. A facial fat transfer can volumize various areas of the face to address the sagging which you describe. Fat grafting can restore volume to sunken areas beneath the eyes and cheeks to create a more youthful appearance while improving the quality of the skin. Results...
I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation. Swelling can occur after fillers, but typically resolves after a couple of weeks. If needed the remaining filler could be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
There are many factors that can influence your look. Some include genetics, age, stress, diet, weight loss or gain, and smoking. You may want to begin by creating a good skin routine including medical grade skin care like Transform MD. We recommend wearing sunscreen every day. Reducing your...
