Question

Hello, I had a very stressful (ment.&phys.) 6-month stay in Psychiatry. Weekly quarrels with docs, akathisia for months, then developped severe 24h/7 RLS, compromised sleep and slept on my stomach. I noticed then how worse my face looked. What other reasons other than the ones mentioned above can it have(except genetics). Will repeated HA fillers wear out my skin? And how can I prevent it worsening? I have a doc app' in Oct. but I am obsessed and therapy seems no help.

Hi there. Sorry to hear about your ordeal. Stress and lack of sleep can absolutely wreak havoc on your appearance, especially your face. The good news is that you are very young, so your skin will bounce back once you are able to take better care of yourself. Don't do fillers at this time. It will wear off very quickly when you are under stress and yes, repeated fillers can cause undesirable long term changes to your skin especially when started at a young age. Focus on your mental and physical well being and your appearance will improve without any intervention.
