Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Loose skin is often an issue after liposuction. The best way to address this is with radiofrequency. There are several different platforms that offer radiofrequency. The one that I have found that works the best is Morpheus8! This is a RF microneedling device. What that means is that microscopic needles penetrate the skin surface and while those needles are in the subdermal layers of the skin, the radiofrequency (RF) emits heat. The heat is what tightens that skin from within the structural level of you skin. Our office will often do a combination treatment of submental liposuction followed by Morpheus8 to address the fat aspect of the problem area as well as the skin laxity aspect.

My preferred skin tightening in this region is a combination of facetite and morpheus8. Usually I do this at the same time as the submental liposuction. Facetite does require an incision, so if you don't want to go "under the knife" again you may not want to do it. The other skin tightening that would be helpful in you is improving chin projection, which can be done with an implant, fat grafting, or fillers (if you want an office-based option).

Morpheus 8 is amazing for this. it stimulates fibroblasts, plumps collagen, contracts muscle and tightens skin up to a depth of 4mm. It should work very well.
