Hi I’m 23 just had a baby a yr ago & my breast grew & now they’re saggy & hang I also feel like it’s causing my uppper abdomen to hang a little. Will a breast lift also lift the upper abdomen after removing the extra skin ?

The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief and long term stability. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. The upper abdominal skin is pulled up with this procedure.

breast lift will lift your breasts but it will not lift the skin on the upper abdomen. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Breast lift or mastopexy procedures are designed to address nipple position and breast shape only. They do not significantly change the contour of the upper abdomen because doing so could adversely effect the position of the breast crease, which is an important breast boundary structure. If a person has extra abdominal skin, they may be a good candidate for either a standard abdominoplasty (which can be done at the same time as the breast lift) or a reverse abdominoplasty.

No, a breast lift does not lift upper abdominal skin. You might be a candidate for minimally invasive radiofrequency skin tightening, like ThermiTight, of your abdomen.  I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon and discussing your concerns and options.

Hello and thanks for your question. Breast uplift procedure concentrate to the breast and it has nothing to do with the skin on the tummy area. Breast uplift and tummy procedures(such as tummy tuck and liposuction) can be performed together. If you are concerning your breast and tummy, I strongly suggest you to consider having both procedures.

Tightening of upper abdominal skin (reverse abdominoplasty) can be performed concomitantly with a breast lift. The soft tissues in the area are tethered to underlying structures, requiring careful dissection to free up the tissue and allow advancement upward.
