How long do you space treatments apart and why do they offer a package of 3? Is one not enough? Is this treatment truly as bad as some reviews?
Answer: Morpheus treatment spacing The purpose of doing Morpheus radiofrequency microneedling one month is because one month is about the time you see the max results with some increased results over the next two months. The best results that we have seen have been in packages of three monthly sessions. To answer your question better, sometimes one is enough. IT all depends on what you need and how your consult goes and what issues you want addressed.

Answer: Treatments should be spaced out about 2-4 weeks apart. Treatments of 3 are recommended for the best results. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Morpheus8 For best results, patients need anywhere between three to six Morpheus8 treatments one month apart for optimal results. Three is usually just a taste of the all the awesome results this machine can deliver, while a series of six is reserved for patients with excessive skin laxity/ jowling/ submental fullness we are trying to address. I find that a package of four treatments delivers great results to most individuals. One treatment of Morpheus8 will likely improve the clarity of the skin, however, you will not see much skin tightening or fat melting from one treatment alone. Most patients notice the most improvement in their skin between the second and third threatment. The goal is about 10% improvement with each treatment. Additionally, Morpheus8 is a subdermal fat remodeling device that uses radiofrequency to tighten and remodel the skin by stimulating your body's' own collagen productions over time. So a series of treatment is recommended for this reason. And NO- the procedure is absolutely not as bad as the rumors. Many "med spas" are cutting corners and not using the recommended numbing cream because it is expensive to make. Without the recommended numbing cream in a plasticized base, you do not get adequate pentation of the medication to provide analgesic properties. With the appropriate numbing cream applied for at least 45 minutes, the procedure is very well tolerated by patients. At PUR-FORM, we also offer laughing gas should a patient need it for additional analgesic properties. However, most patients are good with just the numbing cream alone. Furthermore, occasionally I use lidocaine injected into areas that are more sensitive, such as around the lips and mouth, to make the procedure even more tolerable.
