Is there yet any procedure to dissolve the silicon base filler from cheeks? Can Morpheus 8 improve the situation or it can makes It worse? I have done the filler in 2018 and i make often massages to keep it in right place. I'm 43 years old and I'm hoping that a new invention can help me with this mistake that I have done to myself
Answer: Morpheus8 to dissolve silicone-based filler in cheeks Hello there. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the heat generated by Morpheus8, and other similar RF microneedling devices, cannot dissolve silicone fillers. In fact, the necessary inflammatory process experienced with Morpheus8 could exacerbate underlying issues often associated with silicone filler — including but not limited to: excessive inflammation, infection, permanent skin discoloration/visible changes in skin texture (hardened lumps), overall discomfort (itching/burning/pain), etc. Many practitioners prefer the use of HA-based fillers for temporary augmentation because degradation of HA-based fillers not only happens naturally by the body over time but they can also be dissolved using hyaluronidase (injectable enzymes that cause an immediate breakdown of the hyaluronic acid gel). While HA fillers are often affected by the controlled thermal damage caused during non-invasive skin tightening treatments; silicone fillers are not. On the contrary, silicone liquid is a permanent filler that often requires more invasive surgical intervention for removal. However, removal of silicone from soft tissues of the face is exceedingly complicated and the risks may outweigh the benefits. Therefore, I highly recommend you consult with a surgeon that specializes in silicone filler removal if your main goal of Morpheus8 treatment is to dissolve the silicone filler.

Answer: Silicone cannot be disolved Dear Sincere thank you for your question. Unfortunately silicone injections cannot be disolved, the filler applied will remain in place unless it is surgically removed. I would recommend seeking a surgeon with experience in silicone injection removal to get a thorough evaluation.

Answer: Best non surgical option for removal of silicone filler: LaserCoring with Ultraclear could be the latest solution! Silicone fillers are extremely difficult to remove because they integrate with the tissue over time. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, and I want to help you understand your best options. The gold standard for removing silicone is surgical excision, where the affected tissue is physically cut out. This is the most definitive solution and should only be performed by a highly experienced plastic surgeon who specializes in silicone removal. However, if you’re looking for a non-surgical alternative, there are two options: 1. Mechanical Tissue Coring (e.g., Ellacor) – This method removes small sections of skin, potentially extracting some silicone. However, it has limitations, as it cannot be used in all areas. 2. Laser Coring with UltraClear – This approach uses laser energy to core tissue, allowing for greater flexibility in treatment areas compared to mechanical coring. However, the heat may trigger an inflammatory response, so it must be performed with expertise. In my experience, Morpheus8 is not an option—it delivers heat to the skin but does not remove silicone or the affected tissue. The key to improving silicone-related issues is removing the tissue itself, whether through surgery or coring techniques. These treatments should only be performed by a highly experienced physician, such as a plastic surgeon, dermatologist, or aesthetic physician, who understands the complexities of silicone removal. I hope this helps, and I encourage you to seek out a trusted expert for a personalized evaluation. Wishing you the very Best. Dr.Shanthala

Answer: Silicone based fillers Hello and thank you for your question! Unfortunately, silicone-based fillers can’t be dissolved like hyaluronic acid fillers, which respond well to treatments like hyaluronidase. Since silicone is permanent, it stays in place once injected, and if any complications arise, they often require surgical removal rather than a non-invasive procedure. As for Morpheus8, it’s a fantastic treatment for improving skin texture, firmness, and tone through microneedling and radiofrequency. However, since it doesn’t directly affect silicone fillers, using it over areas with silicone might cause inflammation or complications due to the heat involved. It’s always a good idea to consult with a specialist who’s familiar with silicone fillers before trying anything, just to be on the safe side. Best of luck! Answer: Silicone Filler/ Morpheus 8 The dissolution of silicon-based fillers from cheeks is a complex matter that requires careful consideration. While there are some procedures that can be used to help break down the filler, it's important to consult with a qualified medical professional to determine the best course of action for your specific situation. Morpheus 8 is a non-surgical skin tightening and rejuvenation device that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy and microneedling to stimulate collagen production. While it may help to improve the appearance of the skin, it's not guaranteed to dissolve silicon-based fillers. In fact, there's a risk that it could make the situation worse by causing inflammation or other complications. It's important to note that the effectiveness of any procedure to dissolve silicon-based fillers will depend on several factors, including the type of filler used, the amount injected, and the individual's body chemistry. Additionally, the results may not be immediate, and multiple treatments may be necessary. If you're considering having a procedure to dissolve the silicon-based filler from your cheeks, it's crucial to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist who has experience with this type of treatment. They can evaluate your individual situation and recommend the most appropriate approach.

Answer: Options for Managing Silicone-Based Fillers in Cheeks: Can Morpheus8 Help? Silicone-based fillers are permanent and, unfortunately, cannot be dissolved like hyaluronic acid fillers. However, there are some options for improving or managing the situation. 1. Surgical Removal: The most definitive way to remove silicone fillers is through surgical excision. While this may help, it can be complex and may result in scarring or other changes in facial contour. 2. Morpheus8: Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency microneedling treatment that can help tighten and rejuvenate the skin, but it won’t dissolve silicone fillers. It may improve skin texture and firmness around the area, but there’s a risk that it could disrupt the filler or make the situation worse. It's best to consult with an experienced plastic surgeon or dermatologist who can assess the situation and recommend the safest approach based on your individual case.
