so I'm a little confused, I had a consultation today with my PS and he told me he was going to use the Natrelle High Profile Responsive implant for me (the silicone type) I hear good things about the Soft touch and most girls I know have that type of implant so I was wondering if there is any difference between the 3? For reference, I have a small frame I'm 105 lbs, 5'6" cup size 32B, so I'm a little worried about rippling since I'm so small.
Answer: The firmness/cohesivity of the gel The difference between these implant types is the cohesivity (basically, the firmness) of the gel. This affects three main things for you--the feel, the risk of rippling, and upper pole fullness. The responsive is the softest of the three to feel, but has a higher risk of rippling and gives less upper pole fullness for a given shape and volume. Cohesive is the firmest to touch (some people feel it's too firm), has the lowest risk of rippling, and gives the most upper pole fullness for a given shape and volume. Soft touch is between the two of these, and in my experience it often is the sweet spot for decreased rippling and a great shape and feel for primary breast augmentations, especially with little breast tissue. The two Sientra gels (HSC and HSC+) are also in between Responsive and Cohesive in firmness. Hope this helps!

Answer: Natrelle implants! Thanks Bigtittygothgf for your question! Natrelle offers three main types of silicone gel breast implants, each differing in the cohesivity (or "gumminess") of the gel: Natrelle Inspira Responsives: are the softest to the touch since they have the lowest cohesivity. However, because of their lower cohesivity, they are somewhat more slightly likely to tear, particularly in thinner tissue. Furthermore, in comparison to the other two varieties, they could provide less fullness in the breast's upper pole. Soft Touch Natrelle Inspira: These implants offer a balance between softness and firmness. They offer good upper pole fullness, guaranteeing a natural-looking form, and they are less likely to ripple compared to responsive implants. Natrelle Inspira Cohesive: Patients with thinner tissue benefit greatly from these implants since they have the maximum cohesivity, which makes them feel the firmest to the touch, and the lowest chance of rippling. They give the best fullness to the upper poles, which also results in a well-defined breast form. Selecting the Appropriate Implant: A number of variables, such as your preferred form, tissue quality, and personal preferences, will determine which implant is ideal for you. To discuss your objectives and choose the best implant type for you, it's imperative that you speak with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon. Hope this was helpful! Answer: Natrelle Implants Thank you for your question about Natrelle breast implants. Responsive, Soft Touch, and Cohesive are the three types of silicone or gel that are available with Natrelle implants. Each type of these types of implants have a different level of cohesivity, or what surgeons may refer to as gumminess. The Natrelle is also a great website full of resources and education. I hope this helps.

Answer: Gel in the Shell Hi, Natrelle has three different implant types, Responsive, Soft Touch, and Cohesive. There is more crosslinking in the gel in the cohesive as opposed to the other two. The more cohesive the gel the firmer the implant and more upper pole fullness in that particular gel. We often say "more gel in the shell" to help patients visualize this better. All three styles are considered "gummy bear". Often, surgeon preference dictates what she or he will use in a patient. Some surgery offices will have different samples of these three gel styles to allow you to feel the difference in each. Make sure all of your questions are fully addressed by your surgeon prior to surgery. Best wishes, Dr. Andre P. MarshallDouble Board Certified Plastic SurgeonBeverly Hills, CA 90210

Answer: Differences between responsive, soft touch and cohesive natrelle implants The difference between responsive, soft touch and cohesive implants is the thickness of the gel (or viscosity). This translates to 'firmness' of feel. The responsive will feel the least firm of the three and the cohesive will feel the most firm. This will also translate to risk of rippling. The least viscous of the three, the responsive type, will have a slighty higher risk of visible rippling than the other two types.
