Buccal fat removal - is it risky or not?

I plan on going to a good surgeon I’ve had a consultation with one a month ago and they said they do it above the parotid duct and less likely to hit any nerves at all. I really wanna do it but need to know if it’s very risky surgery or not and if there usually a lot of complications with it.

Actually, this surgery is done BELOW the parotid duct orifice to be done safely. We do this regularly. It takes about 20 minutes, in the office, and we have never had a complication other than a bruise (in one person).
