Botched chin implant - how can I fix the muscle? (Photo)

My jaw wraparound implant got infected and formed two fistulas on either corners of chin. I took antibiotics and so far no more problems thank od. But the muscle when I smile looks botched as it curves up then straight down giving me a whitches chin as I smile. How can I fix the muscle ?G

Hi there! If a fistula is truly present, then it would need to be removed otherwise it can be a source of non-healing skin and infection. At the same time, the implant may need to be removed and the chin allowed to heal. After sufficient time, reconstruction and possible re-implantation would be an option. A musclepexy could be performed as well. Hope this is useful to you!
