I am 5’6” tall and 145 lbs. Last year I had my first BA with 440cc silicone implants place sub-muscularly. I lost almost 20 lbs since and now I think they look too small. They seemed to have settled with a big space in between and I really don’t get the cleavage I want, even with a push-up bra. I want to make sure that I don’t regret going too small again, could I realistically go to 750-800cc?

Answer: Explant and The Bellesoma Lift Your breasts are already low on the chest wall and far apart. Adding more volume to your breasts will make your situation worse. The technique I recommend is explantation using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery. At the same time or later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Implants are not lifetime devices. Fat transfers are permanent and incorporated into the body.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Thoughts on best size of breast implants for me Would love to answer your question but this is really something that is better seen in person so that the volume can be assessed against your overall frame. I would also encourage you to bring in 2-3 photos of a volumetric look that you are trying to accomplish so that your Plastic Surgeon can help guide you in the right direction.I hope that helps and wish you the very best!Warmest regards,-Gregory A Buford MD FACS PCEOBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author
