Are Stylage fillers FDA approved?

Thanks for your question. Stylage is a dermal filler available in Europe and elsewhere. It is not FDA approved for use in the US. It is against federal law for a physician or other provider to import from another country and then inject non FDA approved products. This is not to say that Stylage does not perform well in other countries. It has more to do with safety concerns around how the product might have been handled and/or stored prior to arrival in the US, which raises concerns about authenticity of the product and safety. Thanks for your question.  Stylage is not approved by the FDA as a dermal filler for cosmetic reasons in the US.  It has been widely used in other countries but I have no experience with the product.  There are many excellent FDA approved fillers so I am not sure why that one would be used....

Hi and thanks for your questionI practice in Canada and our products are health Canada approved including Stylage.I do not think Stylage has FDA approval but this does not mean that it is not a good product.I have used it for my clients with excellent result and no complication.
