After filler I'm bloated and overfilled instead of chiseled cheeks?

I have a full face to start with. 1 year ago a ps injected 0.3 cc on top of the bone diveded in many micro boluses and created a beautiful sculpted cheekbone and lifted my lower face. I moved and went to a new doc .This time he injected 0.4 cc only in 3 spots and massaged the whole cheeks. I look just fat , no cheekbone definition just thicker skin over the cheek with more pronounced nl folds on top of it. What went wrong? Why i got perfect results the first time and now only a overfilled face?

Thank you for your question. What was your purpose of getting fillers this time? Were you able to describe your concerns and goals to your physician? Did your physician go over his plan and the type of fillers he was going to use? Do you still have swelling? Do you have before and after photos?
I highly recommend you to get reevaluated by the same physician and go over your concerns. He might be able to dissolve the filler.

well, the volume you're describing is very little. but based on your prior experience 0.3 ml worked for you so thats good. having said that, u might want to inquire the type of filler that was used for your cheekbones both times. it could be the difference in the type of filler, the brand name etc,,, most fillers used these days are made of Hyaluronic acid but they vary in terms of their G-prime, cohesively and viscosity. all those factors will determine the final outcome
