Full Tummy tuck, breast implants and lipo to thighs, love handles and bra area - can these be done all at the same time?

I had a consult with a surgeon who I felt very comfortable with. At the time I was so excited I forgot to ask him. My question is, would it be okay to have all these procedures done at the same time? How long would you think it would take to recover and see results? I believe it will be done at his surgery center, would hospital be better? Would you recommend more consults even though I really like his results?

When performing multiple operations commonly known as mummy makeover, the limiting factor is the anaesthetic time. Generally the operation you  are looking for can be done in the same sitting. Patients prefer as it is one anaesthetic and one recovery. Yes, these procedures can be combined and performed together. Your full recovery will take 6-8 weeks, however most patients are able to be independent after 3 weeks. The tummy tuck requires the longest recovery. If you are concerned about your aftercare, sometimes a surgery center can arrange for you to stay overnight with a nurse. I would contact your surgeons office and see if an overnight stay would be possible for you.

Hi, thanks for your questions. Yes these procedures are commonly combined into one surgical procedure. Recovery following a mommy makeover requires a patient to typically take 2 weeks off of work and about 6 weeks to feel "normal" again and engage in more strenuous forms of exercise. Though recovery guidelines may vary from surgeon to surgeon as each surgeon has his/her own post-operative guidelines that you should carefully follow. You will see results immediately after surgery but your true final results can take up to almost a year to really take effect. It is totally common practice to have the surgery done at your surgeon's private practice, but if you would feel more comfortable at the hospitable that is ultimately your decision. As for having more consultations with other surgeons, that's totally up to you. If you feel comfortable with the surgeon that you've seen then that says a lot. You can always go back to the surgeon that you saw for a follow-up consultation prior to deciding about your surgery if you feel you have more questions for them.

It is possible to do them all at the same time if you are small, healthy and have no surgical risks.
You do not give any information about your health, your weight and if your surgeon is a Board certified plastic surgeon , so it is a bit difficult to give you an an accurate answer. Personally , I think that you shoul be done in a hospital in order to have the safest surgery and the most careful monitoring after. Perhaps , you should see a few more plastic surgeons.
