first of all this does not sound like a lipoma, but instead a sebaceous cyst which popped. Lipomas do not pop and creamy liquid does not come out of them this would happen with a sebaceous cyst. Hi, lipoma tend not to burst. From what you describe, it may be that you had a sebaceous cyst rather than a lipoma.Frequently, lipomata can be excised under local anaesthetic.

Lipomas don't leak out brownish fluid unless it's possibly infected which would be rare. It sounds like you probably have some type of cyst or something else there. I would recommend you get it evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon.Best Regards,Dr. Gartner
