What could be causing green veins on my stomach? (Photos)

Question

I have these faint green-purple veins on stomach. I can only see them if I press really hard on the area. I also have these veins very visible on chest, hands, ribcage and arms. What could be causing this? Very scared of cirrhosis. P.S I had fibrosure test done 3 months ago with cbc and it was completely normal.

Spider veins are little blood vessels that branch and become visible underneath the skin. Caused by many factors like genetics and age, spider veins may be purple, red, and blue, which makes them hard to mask. As these unattractive veins typically multiply over the years and become more visible, it is advisable to get help when you first notice them. Hello and thanks for sending photos along with your question - they are helpful.  Everything looks normal to me.  Each person has a certain degree of skin pigment, and some have veins that are more superficial and look more blue, purple, or dark in certain areas.  I would not consider these to be abnormal in any way, but see your primary care physician if you are having any symptoms related to the presence of the veins.

All the posted veins look like normal veins and they can be due to many factors including genetics, levels of hydration, exercise and even sun exposure.  I would not recommend any treatment for them unless you want cosmetic removal with sclerotherapy.
