Diflucan 9 days before breast augmentation...

I'm having an elective breast augmentation in 9 days and was just prescribed diflucan for a yeast infection, yesterday by my gyn. Is it safe to take it now or am I better off waiting until after the surgery to take it?

I would discuss this with your plastic surgeon directly.  You may be able to use the cream at this time with their approval.

Hello, Thank you for your question.This is most likely related to your sutures and should resolve in a couple of weeks. Should you still have concerns at that time, I'd recommend speaking to your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. All the best.

Having costochondritis does not preclude you from having a breast augmentation, but it may exacerbate your symptoms during the healing time period.  Going underneath the muscle or on top of the muscle really should not make a difference at all.  I hope this helps.

Hello,You should avoid direct heavy lifting with your arms/upper body for 4 to 6 weeks.However,  you should know that staying lean is 90% diet, 10% exercise.  Best of luck!
