Should my belly button and surrounding areas protrude like this after 2 months of lipo? (Photo)

The best thing to do would be to follow up with your doctor.  Sometimes, once the fat around the belly is removed it can unmask an umbilical hernia.  It could also be swelling around the belly button.  It can be very concerning for the patient and the best thing to do is make an appointment to see your doctor so you can understand what it is!

Thanks for the question, sometimes when the fat layer is removed and the skin is brought down to the muscle you can see hernias or just weaknesses from pregnancy. It can be quite discomforting I totally understand but see your surgeon and have a discussion about what you can do!

Thank you for sharing your photo, although it is hard to accurately determine what is going on from this angle. There are several possibilities for the protruding area you are speaking about:
there could be fat that was not removed (the belly button is a particularly difficult area and you often need to be more aggressive there to remove all of the fat)you could still be experiencing swelling (if they were aggressive in that area, this is likely)you could have a hernia - either that was there previously and is now more obvious without fat camouflaging it, or that is new
It is best to see go back to the physician who treated you for a follow up exam to make sure everything is healing properly.

Is difficult to make an impression from your photo. If you are not sure about the result just go back to your doctor; I am sure he or she will help you to get the best results possible.

It is very hard to see what is going on in your photo.  I would go back to see your surgeon.  Perhaps you have a hernia?  Perhaps you have a fluid collection?  Perhaps they left behind some fat?  It's very hard to tell from this photo so an in person exam is needed.  Good luck!
