Hello, and thank you for your question. Vollure can be a great option for laugh lines. I usually recommend starting laterally in either the temple or cheek, as this can inadvertently help pull nasolabial folds (laugh lines) and make them appear softer and less noticeable. If you simple fill the laugh lines, this can sometimes make a patient’s face look more full centrally. I would recommend seeing a provider who can offer both options and see which would be best for you!
Thank you for your questions and providing photos. While it is always recommended to have a consultation with a Board Certified NP/ Advanced Injector, my opinion is that you definitely should be able to improve your Nasolabial Folds (laugh lines/ smile lines). However- you may need to take the approach of injecting your lateral cheeks (to pull back/ lift the folds) in conjunction with treating the Folds with filler. Typically 1-3 syringes of Juvederm are needing for cheeks and 1-2 syringes of Juvederm Vollure (placed with a cannula) would be needed to improve the Nasolabial Folds. It is very important to visit a reputable injector that has many years of training and experience.
The administration of fillers is a highly technical procedure. There are so many factors to consider to determine if you are a good candidate for it, best filler to use, the right amount, injection technique, etc. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.
Hello - thank you for the question and photos. You would notice a significant improvement with 1 syringe, but you may need 2 for best results.Best of luck!
Vollure (aka Volift in Europe) is an excellent new filler FDA approved for the treatment of the nasolabial folds (smile lines) which usually has less swelling and uses a special technology called Vycross which allows it to last longer. One syringe will only help to soften this area and not completely treat. I prefer a dual approach- lifting with Voluma placed in the cheeks and then treating the smile lines, but you can certainly start with one syringe of Vollure.
In our clinic, I prefer to work with the Restylane family of fillers. I would recommend 1-2 syringes of Restylane Defyne, a flexible gel HA fillers, for your laugh lines.
Thanks for the question. By looking at your photo, one syringe of vollure can improve and soften the look of your smile line. You injector need to know up front that you got only one syringe so they will divide the volume between both side. Good luck.Lake Oswego Vein and Aesthetic-LOVA
Juvderm Vollure is a wonderful, relatively new filler. It has the Vycross technology, in the Voluma family, which means it will probably last longer than regular Juvederm XC. You can tell your physician that you only have the budget for 1 syringe of Vollure. It should lessen your lines. The right side is deeper than the left, and more should be placed there. Good luck!
