Am two weeks post breast augmentation. I've had this feeling my whole second week. When am up I don't have any discomfort or burning sensation. However when am laying down in bed I get this weird burning sensation on the side of my right armpit near my breast. This is only on the right side the left is normal. It's really hard to explain I never experienced this before the surgery. It's really uncomfortable and hard to sleep at times. Should I bring it up to my surgent? Is this even normal? Thanks

The exact number of visits after breast augmentation will vary by surgeon. A typical recovery in our practice involves follow up on day one, day seven, six weeks, three months, and yearly thereafter. This varies somewhat for patients who are traveling from out of town. Those patients would stay...
Thank you for your question. From your description it may well be due to positioning of the arm during surgery.I am glad that your motor function and sensation is returning. If you have not returned to normal in two weeks be sure to ask your plastic surgeon if Neurological evaluation is neeeded.
