Post blepharoplasty canthal webbing? (photos)

It is very difficult to notice any webbing.  However there is rounding of the right eye with an inferior pull on the lateral portion of the right lower eyelid.This can be fixed with canthopexy followed by taping of the lower eyelid at least for a few weeks and maybe even a Frost suture or a temporary tarsorrhaphy stitch.RegardsDr. J

Hi. It is very had to tell from your photos if you have any canthal webbing. The angle and shaddowing make it difficult to determine exactly what is going on. It does look like you have some sclera like show on the right and scarring of the lower lid/ lateral canthus on the left. The scleral show may be a sign of lid retraction. There are procedures that can correct canthal webbing (if you have any). I would follow up with you surgeon to address your concerns. If you are interested in a second opinion, then recommend consulting a surgeon that is experienced at revision eyelid surgery, like an oculoplastic surgeon.Best regards, Ira Vidor, M.D.

It does not look like you have cantonal webbing, but at least at the angle of the photo, it looks like you have some scleral show. Massage may help this if this is the case.
