Can Botox reduce the horizontal lines/creases above lips when I smile? (Photos)

Thank you for the great picture so I can better help you. Yes you can use a Botox to help relax the lip area but may want to consider using a filler to give you an over all smoother optimal result. I would recommend the option of doing a CO2 Laser Resurfacing treatment around the mouth or you do have the option in doing full face. The wrinkles causing you concern are only visible when you make certain facial expressions, To create the best results in this sensitive area, precision in dosing amount and needle placement of Botox is required. I often combine Botox with dermal fillers and lasers to rejuvenate this area as well. Make sure you choose a board-certified dermatologist with experience in using Botox in this area. Dear happyfacesmiler,Thank you for your question. Botox could dramatically improve the results of your perioral wrinkles. The horizontal wrinkles are longstanding and deep set, so it may take several rounds of Botox to achieve complete improvement. Until that happens, filler can be used to mask the wrinkle. What I usually do is treat with Botox, wait two weeks and then assess if filler is necessary.
