3 days post op full tt with Lipo flanks and muscle repair. .one side of scar has been bleeding a little but really hurts ?

So 3 days after my full tt..all went well and I'm not in alot of pain.but do feel like love been hit by a bus..Lots of discomfort and sore..but mainly my right side scar has bleed a little more and really sore like a pulling tight burning pain. ? Is this normal? Lots of gurgling noises as well.?

I have my patients eat their normal balanced diet prior to their surgery to maximize the healing process. Liquids only aren't necessary. I would also suggest that you check with your surgeon because I also recommend discontinuing many supplements prior to a tummy tuck. Good Luck!

It is always best to discuss your options with your operating Surgeon. We often offer overnight stay for patients who live further away from a surgical facility. Usually, tummy tucks are outpatient- so as long as you follow all of your Surgeon's post op instructions- you should be ok.

I have found that when a tummy tuck is performed with muscle imbrication (correction of separation), Exparel seems to make my patients more comfortable during the early post-operative period. Good Luck!
