It is important to be very hydrated prior to treatments for maximum comfort, especially during that time. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment.      Exilis during this time may increase the intensity of your bleeding, but is not a contraindication as long as you are aware of this. I would speak to your provider in more detail and of course discontinue the treatment if discomfort or pain are felt. Good luck!
