Can I stop Minoxidil within its first week?

Hello its just been 1 week I've started using minoxy f which is topical lotion containing 5 percent minoxidil and 0.01 percent finasteride, can i stop it early without suffering from any side effects since its just been 1 week

You can quit the medicine whenever you like. Once you stop taking th medicine the side effects will not remain. One week is not enough to expect growth.

You can stop the treatment within the first week without any issues.  You should not have any minoxidil-dependent hairs at this stage, so no side effects should occur.  You may be a candidate for microneedling with PRP for hair restoration.  In my practice we typically combine microneedling with PRP with minoxidil treatment to successfully regrow hair. I suggest scheduling a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist who is an expert in hair restoration.

Yes you may stop. You have not been using it long enough to have any positive results that would be lost by you stopping.

yes. You kay stop using it. But why do you want to do that. It's an FDA approved treatment for hairloss. If it is causing dandruff or itching,  you may contact your doctor who will change the formulation. If you are worried about the side effects, then you should weigh it against the benefits it offers and then decide

Yes, you can stop minoxidil within the first month, let alone the first week as no minoxidil dependent hairs have yet grow out
