They say i won't have to use minoxidal for very long. I have heard that your hairfall if you stop using minoxidal? I am a female of 20 years. I have been having hairfall for the last 3 years. The hair texture has become thin as well as my hair density. Now after 3 years of having all my tests clear doctos have come to conclusion that may be due to swimming I used to do three years back.i was a chronic swimmer. But I won't always wash my hair after swimming neither would I take the necessory precautions.they have prescribed minoxidal. Doctors say that I won't need to use minoxidal for long and I can quit it

It is important to remember that gains made while using medical therapy such as Minoxidil are dependent upon continued use. Cessation of therapy is typically associated with some loss.

If you developed minoxidil dependent hair and yo stop the minoxidil for more than 3 weeks, you can lose these dependent hairs. It takes time to develop dependencies.
