Used minoxidil drops for 9 weeks for early stages of female pattern baldness. No side effects until a week ago, scalp itchiness, hot red swollen ears, a rash around my neck and forehead. Doc thinks Contact Dermatitis caused by the drops. I have read that it is not Minoxidil that causes a skin allergy but the Proplylene Glycol & alcohol. Is Aquagaine drops for women good option or better to try the Regaine foam which does not contain PG? Is minoxidil with no PG better than the LLLL caps?
