What is this horizontal line, is it some bone(radix) related issue of some muscle hyperactivity due to this my eyebrows also takes an arch shape. what can i do to fix it and approx cost of treatment.

The heaviness above your nose, in your forehead, appears to be hypertrophic corrugator muscles. Those are the muscles that are responsible for frowning. I believe with sequential botox treatments, you might be able to achieve smaller corrugator appearance, and this may lead to a shallower appearance between your nose and forehead. I hope this helps. Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a rhinoplasty. A surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Fascial grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. The radix indentation can be fixed with fascial grafts . With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

A horizontal line at the upper nasal bridge (radix area) is commonly related to either underlying bone contour, soft tissue depression, or muscle activity from the glabellar/frontal muscles. In some individuals, muscle hyperactivity can also create arching of the eyebrows, which may make the line more noticeable.

Treatment depends on the exact cause. If it is muscle-related, neuromodulator injections (such as Botox) may soften the line. If it is due to a structural depression or contour irregularity, filler correction or, in selected cases, surgical refinement may be considered. Cost varies depending on the treatment chosen and geographic location.

A proper examination is necessary to determine whether this is primarily muscular or structural before recommending treatment.
