In the photo you can see a hollow area above the cheekbone right beside the ear. Is it safe to inject filler into this area to reduce the hollowing? The area is under the sideburn hair above the cheekbone, next to the ear. The exact location is marked in the attached photo.
Answer: Is it safe to add filler to hollow temples Yes, it is safe to inject a filler into the temple area providing it is done by an experienced plastic surgeon. I highly suggest using a micro-cannula for the injections to avoid injury to arteries or veins in that area.Thank you fro your question and good luck.

Answer: Is it safe to add filler to hollow temples in this specific area? Yes this area can be filled. A filler such as Radiesse can be placed beneath the temporalis muscle to fill the temporal hollow. The results look very natural and are safe. Most will experience mild jaw soreness for a couple of days. I've had this injection performed on myself and am very happy with the results. Best.

Answer: Fillers for temples It is very safe and you are a great candidate as your temple fat pad is very thin. Your options are : Fat transfer, or dermal fillers such as Juvederm Voluma or Restylane Defyne or collagen booster such as Sculptra esthetic. I highly recommend to set with quickest and easiest option such ah dermal fillers before considering invasive options like fat grafting. I always use microcannula technique to decrease any chance of bruising, give less swelling and avoid injecting into a blood vessel. Please seek an expert consultation for best option for you. Best, Dr.Avaliani

Answer: Fillers in Temple Area Yes it is safe in the temples. I prefer to inject Voluma deeply in that area for the best filling and lifting results. Care must be taken to avoid blood vessels in that area. It is a commonly treated site in my practice. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD
