31-year-old Asian female. 5', 95lbs. Nasolabial folds issue or nasal aperture? (Photo)

Question

I'm still not 100% sure if I have heavy nasolabia folds or are these lines due to receded bone at the edge of the nasal aperture which is part of the Asian facial bone structure. But I've been noticing the "saggy" look for a few years now. In my case, would fillers help? Some people mention facial massages could reduce these? I'm not a big fan of facial injections at this early age for fear of permanent stiffness when I get older (e.g. 50). Or would I need an implant to improve nasal aperture?

I recommend fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. Thanks for the great question! Fillers work great to replace areas of volume loss that either are genetic or which happen over time. There should not be any stiffness associated with long term filler use as most fillers are broken down and removed with the body over the course of 12-24 months.
