Can you laugh out the stitches on the SMAS?

I'm on my 6 th day now after a smas lift , and yesterday I laughed (the kind that you can't stop yourself) and I had to hold my cheeks and it hurt really bad. My concern is ,(when I laugh now it doesn't hurt anymore only a bit stiff ) can you rip your smas / or can one of the loops on the smas come loose?
